This area displays a number of buttons which provide access to the pages. The same buttons are displayed on control pages and malfunction pages. On map pages, some of the buttons are replaced with buttons providing access to functions which are only relevant to map page operation.
On lesson pages and plot pages, the page display extends the full width of the screen and toolbar buttons relevant to the operation of the page are displayed horizontally at the bottom of the page.
The function of each of the buttons is detailed below:
| MASTER INDEX | Displays Master Index page. |
| MALF INDEX | Displays Malfunction Index page which lists the available malfunction pages by aircraft system to assist you in loading the required malfunction. |
| MALF STATUS | Displays Malfunction/CB Status page. |
 | Displays Repositions page which allows you to reposition the aircraft relative to the currently active airport and runway. |
 | Displays the Freeze/Reset page which allows you to suspend and restart all or some of the simulated systems, and to reset the aircraft systems to normal operating conditions. |
 | Prints a copy of the page, including any dialogues currently in view, on the hard copy printer. |
