FLIGHT CREW DEBRIEF SYSTEM (1 of 3)

This page is selectable from the Master Index page and provides controls and information for the Flight Crew Debrief System.

The Flight Crew Debrief System (FCDS) offers the facility to record flight data for an entire training session to an off–board Data Acquisition Computer (DAC). The instructor and crew can view the recorded flight data from a machine located in a debrief room away from the simulator. The standard FCDS data comprises a video and audio capture of the training session, whilst the optional enhanced version of FCDS also provides repeat displays of some primary aircraft instruments.

A FCDS recording is called a Session and a Session is recorded to a Slot. The slot number is automatically allocated by the system.
